How to Communicate With Animals: Can You Learn Pet Mediumship?

If you have ever looked at your dog or cat and wondered what they were trying to tell you, you are already familiar with the desire behind animal communication.

Our pets communicate with us constantly. We recognize a look across the room, the sound of a particular meow, the way a dog positions its body when it wants something, or the subtle change in behavior that tells us something feels different.

I believe there is another layer of communication available to us as well.

My work in Personal Pet Mediumship Development grew from my own experiences with companion animals and from the belief that many people are capable of developing a more intentional way of communicating with animals.

For me, the question isn’t whether you were born with some rare ability. The question is whether you are willing to learn how you naturally receive information and practice becoming more aware of it.

Animal communication begins with how you receive information

People process the world differently.

Some people naturally think in pictures. Some notice words, sounds or phrases. Others experience information through physical sensation, emotion or an immediate sense of knowing.

That matters when you begin learning animal communication.

If I try to teach someone who naturally receives information through feeling to wait for a vivid mental picture, I may be asking that person to ignore the way information already comes most easily to them.

This is one reason my Personal Pet Mediumship Development process is individualized.

I want to understand how you receive information before I begin telling you what to look for.

My Bio-Magnetic Bandwidth Discovery Protocol starts with questions about these natural tendencies. Your responses give me a starting point for the work we may do together.

What is your pet already communicating?

Many pet parents already recognize forms of communication without calling them mediumship, telepathy or intuitive animal communication.

You may know exactly when your dog wants to go outside before they make an obvious move toward the door.

You may know when your cat wants space.

You may sense that something is wrong before there is a visible explanation.

You may suddenly think of a particular pet and find them standing beside you moments later.

Some of these experiences have ordinary behavioral explanations. Others may feel harder to define.

I encourage people to begin by paying attention.

The goal is to become more conscious of what you are noticing, how you are receiving it and what happens when you respond.

Can anyone learn animal communication?

I believe many people can develop a deeper form of communication with companion animals through practice.

I also believe willingness matters.

Learning animal communication asks you to pay attention to your own habits, assumptions, emotional reactions and ways of processing information. My method also asks participants to work with what I describe as their energetic bandwidth.

Within my framework, our habitual thoughts, attitudes, behaviors and physiological states affect the way we broadcast ourselves into the world.

Personal Pet Mediumship Development involves learning to intentionally change some of those patterns.

I use the term Companion Animal Transponder for a person who is learning to prepare themselves for this kind of communication.

You do not need previous experience with mediumship, chakras, animal telepathy or energy work to begin exploring the process.

Communicating with living pets

Animal communication has value while your pets are right here with you.

You may want to deepen your relationship with a dog you have loved for years. You may be trying to understand a cat whose behavior has changed. You may be introducing a new pet into a household with other animals.

Sometimes the desire is simply to feel closer.

I believe our relationships with companion animals can become richer when we become more intentional about how we communicate with them.

Personal Pet Mediumship includes the pets sitting beside us today.

For me, “Here and Hereafter” belongs in the same conversation.

Communicating with pets in Spirit

My own understanding of pet mediumship also includes companion animals who have crossed into Spirit.

My work is rooted in Spiritualism and in my belief that companion animals possess eternal souls. I believe physical death changes the form of the relationship while leaving the relationship itself available to us in another way.

This belief is one reason I define friendship as an ongoing relationship based on communication rather than physical location.

For pet parents who are grieving, the desire to communicate may become especially strong.

I teach Personal Pet Mediumship as a skill people can explore and practice for themselves rather than depending entirely on another person to communicate on their behalf.

What animal communication training looks like in my approach

My development process takes place through two private Zoom sessions with one week of practice between them.

Before either session, I ask you to complete my free Bio-Magnetic Bandwidth Discovery Protocol.

I personally review your responses first.

If I believe you are ready to proceed, Development Session 1 focuses on your learning strengths, your natural ways of receiving information and the patterns I believe may influence your personal bandwidth.

You then spend one week practicing the individualized process we developed together.

During Development Session 2, I introduce my Companion Animal Transponder Protocol and guide you through applying what you have practiced toward communication with a specific companion animal.

The purpose is to give you a process you can continue developing after our work together.

How to begin communicating with animals

Start by paying closer attention to what is already happening between you and your pets.

Notice what you experience before you explain it away.

Notice whether information tends to arrive through pictures, words, physical sensations, emotions or an immediate impression.

Pay attention to the difference between a familiar assumption and something that seems to arrive unexpectedly.

Learning animal communication takes curiosity and practice.

You do not have to decide exactly what every experience means on the first day.

You can begin by becoming a better observer of both your pet and yourself.

Want to explore Personal Pet Mediumship for yourself?

If you are curious about learning animal communication, I invite you to begin with my free Bio-Magnetic Bandwidth Discovery Protocol.

Your responses help me understand how you naturally process information and whether I believe Personal Pet Mediumship Development may be a good fit for you.

I personally review each completed questionnaire before inviting anyone into Development Session 1.
