From Psychology to Personal Pet Mediumship

I did not begin my professional life expecting to become a Personal Pet Mediumship Facilitator.

After decades in School Psychology and Clinical Psychology, I discovered and began developing my own mediumship during the later years of my practice. From the beginning, it seemed to direct itself naturally toward my cats.

That experience eventually changed the direction of my life and became the foundation for the Personal Pet Mediumship Development work I teach today.

Please Note:

Personal Pet Mediumship Development is not psychotherapy, counseling, psychological treatment, mental health care, diagnosis, or clinical assessment. I am retired from clinical practice and do not offer psychological or mental health services through this work.

Speaking & Workshops

I am a current member of the Lily Dale Assembly and have presented Personal Pet Mediumship Development in workshop settings, including a three-hour program at the Lily Dale Lyceum in New York focused on becoming a Companion Animal Transponder and communicating with pets Here and Hereafter.

THE FULL STORY

How My Psychology Background Shapes the Way I Teach Pet Mediumship

I began my professional career in 1976 in a combined practice of School Psychology and Clinical Psychology.

Over the years, my work gave me a deep appreciation for the fact that people do not all learn, process information, communicate or respond in the same way. My background includes experience with learning theory, personality theory, neuro-linguistics and psychometrics, and that understanding continues to shape the way I teach today.

I am now retired from clinical practice, and I do not provide psychological, counseling or mental health services through Pet Spirits You Contact. My professional background informs the way I individualize Personal Pet Mediumship Development, but this work is spiritual and educational in nature.

When Mediumship Became Personal

During the later years of my clinical practice, I discovered and began developing my own mediumship. From the beginning, it seemed to direct itself naturally toward my cats.

Those experiences opened the door to a much larger exploration of companion animals, Spiritualism and the possibility that communication with our pets can continue in ways we may not immediately understand.

Over time, that personal experience became the foundation for the work I now call Personal Pet Mediumship Development.

Why Pets Became the Focus

I believe companion animals are much more than pets in the ordinary sense of the word. To me, they are spiritual equals with individual personalities, the capacity to love and an eternal soul.

I often describe PET as Personal Energy Therapist because of the unique role companion animals can play in our lives. They comfort us, challenge us, change us and often reach emotional places that other relationships do not.

I believe that relationship is mutual. Just as our pets enrich the human experience, we have a responsibility to enrich their experience of us.

My role is to teach you how to develop your own ability to communicate with your pets.

That is why I describe myself as a Personal Pet Mediumship Facilitator. I use what I have learned about individual differences, learning styles and personality to shape the process around the person I am working with.

My goal is to help you discover how you naturally receive information, understand the patterns you bring into the process and begin practicing a more intentional form of communication with your companion animals.

My Spiritual Perspective

My work is rooted in Spiritualism and in the belief that life is eternal and continues across different dimensions and frequencies.

I believe companion animals remain spiritually accessible after physical death, and I believe many people are capable of developing deeper communication with both living pets and pets in Spirit through practice.

I call this Pet-Centered Spiritualism: relaxing into the understanding that the relationship itself is ongoing and that physical location does not define the bond.

For me, friendship does not end simply because one participant is no longer physically present.

A Different Kind of Relationship With Your Pets

You may be grieving a pet who has crossed, preparing emotionally for the eventual loss of an aging companion, strengthening a relationship with a living pet or simply wondering whether this kind of communication is something you can learn.

If you feel the call, I believe it is worth exploring.
